Since band members come from around the country getting together
for a rehearsal can be difficult. When they are also members of
established touring bands things get even trickier. The only time
for rehearsal was a three hour session in the chamber music room
at the Zaragoza Symphony Auditorium, the night before the show.
The party was on as the band celebrated the birthdays of Avalon
, Jeremy, and
Spanish National Radio 3!!!
This Limited Edition 3 cd set of that historic night in Zaragoza
Spain will only be available for a short time. Includes Down in
the Dumps,
Small Town Ways, I Betcha, Let Me Be, Cholly/Thank You Africa,
Funky Woman and many more!!
Special Bonus DVD The 420 Funk Mob "WHAT TIME IS IT?"
included in this set. Featuring performances of the 420 Funk Mob
and special guests in Jacksonville Florida on 4/20/04 and the Universal
Church of Love and Music's Freedom Festival July 3 2004.
SOLD OUT “Arranged
with filtered vocals, psychedelic melodies, gut-wrenching rhythms,
wah-wah pedals, thick bass lines, and Clip’s coarse, dense
tone...the 420FM/Drugs sound like a medley between some spunky Grateful
Dead and a Jimi Hendrix-style jam session” raved the
University of Miami Hurricane.
“The
420 FM quickly created a deeply woven fabric of funk layers that
brought the audience into frenzied dance late into the night.”

it with a touch of Sly Stone and Curtis Mayfield to create their
own sound, not a parody of those who came before."

Its Young" leaves off. One of the most important albums from
